Every Iranian-American: Five Votes!
This is not, obviously, an invitation to vote five times. This is simply a pledge to: 1) Vote, and, 2) Get five others (friends, family members, or coworkers) to vote. If they’re not registered, help them register. If they’re registered and normally don’t vote, keep bugging them until they do. Be nice, be firm, be persistent.
And we are here to help. Start here. Add your name to the pledge. Then add the names of five people who need a little nudge to finally cast that ballot this year. We’ll send them a short email with everything they need to register, know what’s on their ballots, and cast a vote. If they’re already registered, we’ll send them a reminder to vote.
If it all goes as planned, and you and five friends become proud voters, first of all, afarin, you made a big difference in some competitive races. Then, we at the Persian Vote Project will be so proud, we’ll send you a little gift of our own.
